cis (Z) isomer; not trans-resveratrol. Protect from light and prepare aqueous solutions fresh.
cis-Resveratrol (Z-resveratrol) analytical standard for isomer-resolved HPLC and LC-MS. In stock for research use.
cis-Resveratrol is the Z stereoisomer of resveratrol, a nonflavonoid stilbene polyphenol. PubChem CID 1548910 identifies the Z-configured structure recorded here. It has been reported in Malus species, Botrytis cinerea, and other organisms, and can also form by photoisomerization of trans-resveratrol. In vitro studies have evaluated its antioxidant and inflammatory-signaling activity, inhibition of platelet aggregation, and antiviral activity against coxsackievirus B3 (IC50 12.2 µM) and enterovirus 71 (IC50 37.6 µM).
COA and SDS are available on request. Submit an inquiry for lot-specific analytical data.
Store the solid at −20°C, protected from light and moisture. Allow the sealed vial to reach room temperature before opening. Prepare aqueous working solutions immediately before use and minimize exposure to UV or ambient light.
